ABOUT WILLIAM BARCLAY

ABOUT ME

William Barclay is a photographer based in Los Angeles and New York. He draws inspiration from photographers such as Malcolm Brown, Renell Medrano and films like Spike Lee’s “Malcolm X.” Like them, Barclay’s visual narrative carries a free-flowing and unfiltered authenticity.

At the age of 10, William started his photography journey, capturing images of door handles that were just within his sight. By 14, he began his first project, delving into the world of macro photography. By his teens, he had been experimenting with landscapes, long exposure, and Photoshop.

Now, as a young adult, William is a street and portrait photographer, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the unfiltered beauty of the world.
